Reguron for WooCommerce
WooCommerce stores carry the same support load as hosted platforms, usually with a smaller team behind them. Reguron connects over the WooCommerce REST API and works from your real orders.
What the connection covers
Orders and line items
Read via the WooCommerce REST API, including status transitions and order notes.
Shipping and tracking
Tracking data depends on which shipping plugin you run — this varies far more on WooCommerce than on hosted platforms, so it is confirmed per store.
Products and stock
Catalogue data for answering pre-purchase and availability questions.
Customers
Order history for conversation context.
The self-hosted reality
WooCommerce is a plugin on your WordPress install, which means your data model is whatever your plugin stack has made it. Two WooCommerce stores can expose tracking information in completely different places.
We treat that as a scoping question rather than a surprise. Before onboarding we look at which shipping, subscription and multi-currency plugins you run, and confirm which data Reguron can read reliably.
REST API credentials
A read-scoped API key pair, generated from WooCommerce settings and revocable from the same screen.
Your host matters
Rate limits and response times depend on your hosting. Shared hosting with aggressive caching needs checking before go-live.
Plugin conflicts
Order-modifying plugins can make write actions unsafe. If in doubt, we keep the integration read-only.
Setting it up
1. Generate REST API keys
In WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, with read permission.
2. Share your plugin stack
Specifically shipping, tracking and anything that touches order status.
3. Import policies and validate
Same as any other channel: load your policies, run against resolved tickets, compare.
4. Release by topic
Enable auto-send where accuracy held up.
FAQ
Do I need to install a plugin?
The integration is designed to work over the standard WooCommerce REST API, which does not require installing anything extra. Confirm the current approach with us during onboarding.
Will it work with my shipping tracking plugin?
Honest answer: it depends on the plugin. Tell us which one you use and we will check rather than guess.
What about WordPress multisite?
Worth discussing directly — multisite setups vary enough that a generic yes would be misleading.
Is it slower than the Shopify integration?
It can be, because API responsiveness depends on your hosting rather than on a managed platform. This is checked during setup.
